Additional Description: 1899 Two Dollar Silver Certificate United States banknote from the classic Black Eagle series, certified by Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). This note is graded Fine 12 and encapsulated for protection. The face features the portrait of George Washington, flanked by allegorical figures, with blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers. The Friedberg reference number is Fr#256. The reverse displays the traditional green back design with ornate engraving and large numeral 2. As graded, the note shows moderate circulation wear consistent with the Fine designation, including folds and overall age toning. A well-known and highly collectible example of late 19th century U.S. paper money, popular with both type collectors and Silver Certificate enthusiasts.
