The 1962 Mint Set includes coins representing each denomination produced for circulation that year. The Franklin Half Dollar series, minted from 1948 to 1963, is composed of 90% silver and features Benjamin Franklin on the obverse and the Liberty Bell on the reverse, designed by John R. Sinnock. Together, these coins highlight an important period of pre-1965 U.S. silver coinage.
