Additional Information: Striking and elegant, this 1960s Murano art glass bowl is attributed to celebrated Italian designer Antonio Da Ros. Crafted using the traditional sommerso technique, richly colored layers of glass are encased within clear crystal, creating exceptional depth, brilliance, and visual impact. The glass contains a small amount of uranium, causing it to fluoresce with a vibrant glow under ultraviolet (blacklight) illumination. Its sculptural form and refined color transitions exemplify the modernist aesthetic that made Murano glass internationally renowned, making it both a beautiful decorative object and a very desirable collector’s piece.
