Additional Information: DC’s Gotham (#1–12), Wonder Woman Historia (#1–3), and Suicide Squad Black Label (#1–3) each explore distinct facets of the DC universe, unified by darker tones and more mature storytelling. Gotham shifts the focus to the streets and institutions surrounding Batman, emphasizing crime, corruption, and the human cost of vigilantism. Wonder Woman Historia offers a mythic and visually striking reimagining of Wonder Woman’s origins, leaning into epic scale, divine politics, and the power of the Amazons. Meanwhile, Suicide Squad Black Label centers on morally ambiguous operatives forced into high-risk missions, highlighting themes of control, survival, and blurred lines between heroism and villainy.
Together, these series demonstrate DC’s range in storytelling—from grounded urban drama to sweeping mythology and gritty antihero narratives—while maintaining a cohesive focus on complex characters operating in high-stakes worlds.
