About this lot
Subject: Jungle Prince
Year: 1948
Manufacturer: Zago
Dimensions: Approx.10.25×7″
Condition: Wear on Spine, Wear Due to Age
Additional Information: Titles of this kind capitalized on the popularity of jungle and exotic locale storytelling, inspired in part by characters like Tarzan, blending action, exploration, and survival themes with dramatic artwork. Lesser-known publishers such as Zago produced limited-run comics, making surviving examples increasingly scarce and desirable among collectors. Pieces like this offer both visual appeal and historical insight into the wide range of genres that flourished during the late 1940s comic boom.
