Condition: No visible flaws in both pieces

Additional Information: A print of a drawing from Arago and Murine’s travel between 1817 and 1820. The print shows a man bound while another man stands over him with a wood club ready to sacrifice the criminal. The title and artist are printed on the bottom of the print. 

The second piece is an Arago and Murine drawing of a Palau, Micronesian man twisting fibers into strong cords. Shaded by palm trees, sitting by the water near a outrigger canoe with rope in-between his toes while he rolls the rope against his thigh. A saying below reads making several kind of twine and rope by rolling fibers upon his thigh. This piece is part of Series Two D. The bottom is hand signed and dated.
