Description: Silver plated, metal hand painted Tibetan sculpture of Tara. Also known as “Chenrezig Tara Kwan Yin Bodhisattva” or “Tara” an important figure in Vajrayana. Tara represents purity, wisdom, spiritual transformation, and is used to purify the mind. Tara is the mother of all Buddhas helping individuals overcome spiritual dangers. Tara is shown in a seated meditation pose holding a symbolic object. Her flowing cloth and crown are painted yellow to look like gold. The bottom has a decorative stamp.
