Additional Information: Designed by John Deacons, this annual edition paperweight features a central "P" signature cane surrounded by an intricate arrangement of interlaced trefoil garlands composed of white and white-and-red complex millefiori canes. Embedded within the linked garlands are a variety of detailed silhouette canes, creating a richly patterned and highly collectible design. The composition rests upon an opaque blue mushroom ground and is encased beneath a striking opaque blue-over-white double overlay, expertly cut with a large circular top window and two tiers of precision side facets that reveal the contrasting crystal layers. The polished base contains John Deacons "JD" signature cane. This rare piece is also a salesman sample.
