Additional Information: Early hand-crafted wooden pantry box, 19th century. Likely used for pantry storage, dry goods, kitchen provisions, or general household utility.  Constructed from fitted wooden segments with inset bottom and retaining a black-painted surface showing extensive wear, age, and patina. Features a period hand-stitched wire repair to the sidewall, demonstrating long-term household use and preservation. The vessel displays hand-finished construction, age shrinkage, surface abrasions, and honest wear consistent with a working domestic object.
