Cylindrical tin plated sheet iron body with fixed handle, removable fitted lid with ring pull, and side feeding spout/attachment. These early feeding vessels were used for giving liquids or soft foods such as milk, broth, gruel, medicine, or “pap” to infants, invalids, elderly, or bedridden patients
