Large leather bound Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments, published in New York by G. Lane & P. P. Sandford for the Methodist Episcopal Church, Conference Office, 200 Mulberry Street, James Collord printer, 1842. Includes marginal readings, references, chronological dates, scripture tables, introductory religious material, and engraved plates including Moses Receiving the Law and Hagar and Ishmael. Original leather binding with heavy wear; front cover is detached/disconnected. 

1864 American Bible Society New Testament
Gilt Leather Binding. Small Civil War-era New Testament published in New York by the American Bible Society, 1864. Title page reads The New Testament of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; Translated Out of the Original Greek; and with the Former Translations Diligently Compared and Revised. Decorative full leather binding with ornate gilt tooling to covers and spine. Front blank bears a handwritten family presentation inscription reading: “Anna Ferris Parker from her tender loving Mother, Decem 1866.” Binding shows rubbing, leather loss, spine wear, edge wear, and age-related handling wear.
