Additional Information: An Inuit reclaimed whale bone contemporary carving, likely made of whale bone, depicting a woman wearing a traditional amautiq (a parka designed to carry a child.) The carving has a smooth polished texture with a pale white face with dark eyes and dots of black towards the center dotting all around the piece as well as larger carved white bone circles towards the bottom. One can see the porous texture of the bone towards the bottom and top of the carving.
