Origin: Haida, Tlingit, or Pacific Northwest

Dimensions: 5.5x13x1 in. 

Condition: There is light cracking and wear on the bottom of the spoon and on the edges of the spoon. 

Additional Information: An antique carved horn Native American ladle or spoon, potentially from the Pacific Northwest coast. The spoon portion has a round shape shape, and is potentially made out of Native American buffalo or sheep horn. 

These types of spoons were used during feasts and potlatch ceremonies. Some spoons were owned by shamans or medicine men and may have been used in ceremonies.

 Provenance reportedly from a Montreal Canada private collection.
