Origin: African, from the people of Kuba Kingdom in Central Africa

Dimensions: The cloth with the shells attached measures 139×22 in. 

Condition: Each has light wear, and some have more dirt wear than others

Additional Information: Each cloth panel is long and has a different patchwork pattern. One panel is dyed black, orange, and tan and has shells attached and has tasseled edges, and another cloth is mainly tan with geometric patches and has tan coloring, and the next has free-form patchwork shapes with frilled edges. 

Provenance: Reportedly from the collection of ethnographer Sam Belu, NY.
