The obverse features the Saint-Gaudens Liberty design, originally created in 1907, and the reverse shows Miley Busiek’s image of a family of eagles. Issued as part of the U.S. Mint’s bullion coin program authorized by the Gold Bullion Coin Act of 1985, this coin belongs to the first decade of Gold Eagle production.
