Additional Description: This 1990 American Gold Eagle, in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and taken from a U.S. Mint tube, contains one troy ounce of gold and is struck in 22-karat alloy, composed of 91.67% gold with the remainder in copper and silver to improve wear resistance. The obverse features the classic Saint-Gaudens Liberty design, first used in 1907, while the reverse displays Miley Busiek’s image of a family of eagles. Issued under the authority of the Gold Bullion Coin Act of 1985, this piece is part of the U.S. Mint’s first decade of Gold Eagle production.
