Additional Description:   The U.S. Silver Quarters minted between 1925 and 1930, and again in 1945, 1958, and 1963–1964, form a cohesive yet nuanced chapter in the history of American coinage. These coins, all composed of 90% silver, feature the long-running Washington Quarter design beginning in 1932, but those struck from 1925 to 1930 belong to the earlier Standing Liberty series, known for its striking depiction of Liberty in a flowing gown, shield raised, and olive branch in hand. This design, introduced in 1916, was both artistic and symbolic, though often subject to wear that softened its more delicate features.

By 1945, the Washington Quarter had become firmly established, reflecting wartime production demands and a changing national identity. The later dates—1958, 1963, and 1964—represent the final years before silver was removed from circulating quarters in 1965. These coins, still struck in solid silver, are now valued not just for their metal content but as the last of an era. Whether from the Roaring Twenties, the closing days of World War II, or the early 1960s, each of these quarters tells a part of the evolving American story
