Additional Information: Antique Plains Indian/ Northern Plains trade knife with brass-tacked leather sheath, attributed Blackfoot based on form and construction. The set includes a broad single edged utility/trade blade with dark patina and a simple wood slab handle with rivets. The fitted leather sheath is made from heavy dark leather with a distinctive stepped throat and curved lower profile, decorated with dense rows of brass tack studs. This style of brass-tacked sheath is closely associated with Northern Plains and Blackfoot trade knife examples,
