Dimension: Approx. Gone with the Wind is 12 x 9 in. Princess Theatre is 11.5 x 7.5 in.
Condition: Gone with the Wind cover has visible wear, such as discoloration, the back of the booklet has glue marks. Princess Theatre folder has edge wear, but the internal photographs have no visible flaws.
Additional Information: This lot features an original 1939 "Gone with the Wind" souvenir movie program edited by Howard Dietz, published in New York by Ellison B. Greenstone, and marked "Litho U.S.A." Produced for theatrical audiences during the film's original release, the beautifully illustrated program contains cast biographies, production information, and artwork celebrating one of Hollywood's most iconic motion pictures. Also included is a Princess Theatre (Des Moines, Iowa) season 1915–1916 collection preserved in a custom archival folder. The collection contains sepia-toned portrait photographs identified as Robert Hyman, Fay Bauter, Prestley Morrison, and Harriet Worthington, photographed by Guy Woods. Together, these pieces represent an appealing assortment of early twentieth-century theater memorabilia and classic Hollywood ephemera.
