Additional Information:
Three piece vintage dentist themed collection comprising examples in Spanish porcelain, Czechoslovakian handmade crystal, and American illustration.

The porcelain figure is an authentic Lladró Dentist, model #4762, designed by Salvador Furió in 1971 and bearing the Lladró factory mark. The matte porcelain composition depicts a dentist examining a seated patient and is one of the company’s occupational themed figurines.

The second piece is a handmade crystal dentist figure retaining its original AGC, Hand Made Crystal, Made in Czechoslovakia Import Division of American Gift Corp. label.

Completing the group is Gary Patterson’s The Dentist, originally issued in 1975 as Professionals Series #1406 by The Thought Factory. The humorous dental office illustration depicts a caricatured dentist attending a patient surrounded by exaggerated dental equipment, including the “Tooth Fairy” container and “Emergency Kit.”

An unusual collection particularly suited to collectors of vintage dental memorabilia.
