Condition: Plate has scratches to surface and base. Egg box has minimal scratches and paint chipping. Stone eggs have light surface wear such as scuffs and scratches.

Additional Information: Group of decorative objects including one hand-painted egg-shaped trinket box, four polished natural stone eggs, and an Arabia Hubertus oval serving plate designed by Finnish ceramic artist Dorrit von Fieandt for the Arabia Pro Arte collection in 1993.

The egg-shaped box features a black and beige hand-painted botanical and foliate design with gold detailing and is constructed in a form commonly used for small keepsake or trinket boxes. The exact material and origin are unverified, with possible construction in papier-mâché, wood, or lacquered composition.

The four decorative stone eggs are hand-carved and polished natural mineral specimens displaying varied banding, crystalline formations, inclusions, and earthy tones of tan, brown, honey, cream, and white. The exact mineral composition of each egg is unverified and may include calcite, alabaster, aragonite, banded onyx, or related decorative stone.

The Arabia Hubertus oval serving plate was designed by Dorrit von Fieandt for Arabia, Finland, in 1993. The plate features a nature and hunting-themed composition depicting an orange woodcock, or bécasse, surrounded by stylized green and blue foliage. The piece bears the designer’s makers mark on the bottom.
