Included is the original 1924 green instruction manual for the Singer No. 66, along with an assortment of period sewing accessories stored in the cabinet’s side drawers. These include a pincushion, spools of Handy Packet thread, thimbles, a miniature Singer sewing kit, a replacement drive belt, needles and pins, three low-shank specialty attachments consisting of an adjustable hemmer, ruffler, and tucker, as well as a wooden foot-form sock darner. Combining the original machine, cabinet, manual, and sewing accessories, this collection offers an appealing example of early twentieth-century domestic sewing history.
