Condition: No obvious chips, cracks, or repairs observed. Light surface wear and minor scratching consistent with age and handling may be present.
Additional Information: Early American studio art glass vase by Mark Peiser, dated 1973. The rounded cabinet vase form has a short neck and flared rim, with an opaque blue opalescent body decorated in sweeping green, gray blue, and gold toned wave and swirl motifs beneath a soft iridescent satin surface. The free form hot worked decoration is characteristic of Peiser’s experimental early period glass from the 1970s. Signed and dated on the underside. A strong early example from one of the leading figures of the American Studio Glass Movement.
