Condition: There is a chip on the opening of the vessels edge, there is wear throughout the paint, and the big toe has some rough spots from the natural material. 

Additional Information: A vessel in the shape of a foot to the upper calf. The piece is painted with organic patterns and line work. The vessel was used for funeral ceremony offerings, domestic use, religious, and political purposes. 

The Wari  were fascinated with the human body in all its forms often doing ceramic appendages such as arms, legs and particularly pottery portraits of the deformed, diseased or of bloodied captives.
