Dimensions: 28x16x37 in. 

Condition: Scuffs and Wear throughout the wood, a border of wood appears to have come unattached and is in the chest. There is discoloration and staining on the stop and throughout. 

Additional Information: A carved wooden wedding or storage chest. The chest has a rectangular shape and is held by two panels of wood for the legs and has each panel of wood latched together in a simplistic . The front has swirl and geometric carvings. The chest may be from the Kamdesh valley, Nuristan mountains in Eastern Afghanistan. 

The chest has a metal hook and latch at the top and the top opens.
