Additional Information: The assortment includes a charm necklace, a handmade moustache or beard comb and a small had carved wood piece. The African tantric Mala charm necklace with charms made of teeth, claws, shells, trade beads, coins and medals. It was traditionally used for meditation and spiritual practices and was adorned with various symbolic items believed to offer protection and promote well-being. It is made with a black braided cord that forms the base of the necklace, and various attachments including a tooth or bone piece, coins shells and stones. This piece is believed to provide access to regenerative and purifying energy, promoting personal growth and enhancing the impact of one’s intention and were often worn as a daily reminder of spiritual connection and protection. The arrangement and selection of items on the necklace may vary depending on tradition and purpose. 

The wood carving is a hand carved wooden sculpture possibly made as a hair piece. It is an equestrian figure in the style of Dogon art from Mali, West Africa. It shows two figures possibly seated on horseback, which symbolizes prestige, power and mythological figures. It has stylized features typical of Dogon carvings and is made of dark wood. This piece shows wear and damage from age and handling. Measures approximately 4.5×5 in.

The moustache or beard comb is likely handmade and made of wood sticks bound together with twine. and is approximately 2.5 in. long. It shows some wear from age.
