Additional Information: A Ifugao Hunter’s and head hunters backpack raincoat made of a dark plaited and woven rattan and palm fiber. Believed to be from the mid 20th century. The backpack has an open flat backset and two straps and on the front side long fibers create a shaggy fur-like backing. 

These lightweight backpacks are primarily used to carry hunting equipment and supplies during exhibitions. They are often coasted with a layer to help in rain protection.
