Dimension: 17x10x19in

Condition: Minor imperfections and oxidation to the surface. There is a small hole in the base which probably once held a plaque with the temple origin. 

Description: Burmese Bronze Buddha in a seated position from the Mandalay period. The hand gesture is Vitarka mudra, teaching gesture or Bhumisparsha mudra, earth witnessing gesture. The eyes are made of shell creating a glass eye look. The Buddhas garments drape around their body and flow as if being blown in the wind making them look light even though it is made out of bronze.
