Description: Tsongkhapa is a significant Tibetan figure. Tsongkhapa was alive from 1357-1419 and founded the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism which emphasizes monastic discipline and systematic study. The sculpture is created in Tibeto Chinese style with ornamentation and details. The piece is shown in a seated position with a pointed head piece and symbolic objects on the shoulders. The underside plate has a double vajra imprint. 

Reportedly has blessing on the inside of the underside plate seal.
