Manufacturer: One has a sticker on the bottom that reads “Hakata Urasaki Dolls,” and another has a sticker that reads “Serv-ware Rubel Japan” and others are stamped “Made in Japan” or with numbers or writing. 

Origin: Fukuoka, Japan

Dimensions: The couple with a red staff figurine measures 7x4x11 in. 

Condition: Light wear, dirt, and scuffs on each. Some dolls appear to be missing their accessories and one seated couple in black kimonos, the woman’s head has broken off. 

Additional Information: An assortment of traditional Japanese Hakata dolls made from fired and painted unglazed clay. These dolls are known for their soft colors and realistic expressions. 

Includes ten various elderly or younger couples. The figures are different shapes and sizes, some are standing, others are seated and some are doing various tasks like reading or writing, or playing instruments. One pair are bookends.
