Manufacturer: One has a sticker on the bottom that reads “Hakata Urasaki Dolls,” and another has a sticker that reads “Hakata Mimasu Dolls Japan” and others are stamped “Made in Japan.”
Origin: Fukuoka, Japan
Dimensions: One lamp measures 10 in. in diameter x 17.5 in.
Condition: Light wear and scuffs on each. One of the lamps figures appeared to have been holding something, but its accessory is gone. Also one of the dolls head was broken off and glued back on. Some have more chipping and staining than others.
Additional Information: An assortment of traditional Japanese Hakata dolls and Hakata dolls lamps made from fired and painted unglazed clay. These dolls are known for their soft colors and realistic expressions.
Includes two Hakata Doll lamps, one is of a male figure seated and reading from a book, the other lamp has a male seated figure, whose accessory is missing. Also includes various other seated figures that are male and female. Some are missing their accessories, but partake in various activities or hold various object like food, teapots, books, and more.
