Additional Information: Vintage print or lithograph titled “Merrily, Merrily, Merrily” by Southwestern artist Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia (1909–1982), depicting a young Native American girl skipping rope. The figure is shown in motion against a softly blended, atmospheric background of pale white, gray, and blue tones.
The girl is dressed in muted earth tones of charcoal, brown, and red. A sweeping golden-yellow jump rope arcs above her head, providing a contrasting accent against the subdued background. DeGrazia’s simplified forms, expressive brushwork, and portrayal of Native American children are characteristic of his Southwestern imagery.
The lower margin bears two distinct DeGrazia signatures. The large stylized “DeGrazia” signature at lower right is part of the printed image and was reproduced directly onto the paper as part of the printing process. At lower left, the work bears a separate handwritten “1981” date and signature executed in black ink or marker, indicating a hand-applied signature by Ted DeGrazia.
