Additional Information: Original 1939 lithograph titled Men’s Journey by American artist and educator Fabian F. Zaccone (1910–1992). Executed in a striking monochromatic palette, the composition exemplifies the Social Realist and American Regionalist aesthetic of the WPA era through its powerful depiction of muscular, stylized figures rendered with dramatic contouring and expressive shading. The print is numbered 7/9 and bears pencil inscriptions along the lower margin identifying the title, date, and the artist’s signature. Zaccone’s work is recognized for its emphasis on the dignity of labor and the human experience, making this scarce early lithograph an important example of twentieth-century American printmaking and Depression-era artistic expression.
