Additional Information: A pre-Columbian wood carved Inca Peruvian Wari Kero drinking vessel cup with hand painted story scenes. Throughout the vessel figures are shown carrying the ruler on a thrown and making offerings. Animals and designs fill the space. The inside of the vessel shows the natural wood carved marks.

Keros were often used by the subjugated Inca during the Colonial Period to drink distilled “chicha” or fermented beer. Pacifying the Inca was the ultimate goal of the Spanish invaders.
