Dimensions: 4×5.5×8.75 in. 

Condition: Light scuffs and wear throughout the piece

Additional Information: A Moche Ceramic Stirrup Spout Vessel depicting a human or animal figure with a fanned hat on and its hands to its mouth. Below the figure what looks to be a jaguar and another lying-down human figure. The figures and creatures a hand-molded detail and structure and the piece is painted entirely in a dark black color. The vessel has a rounded spout and handle in the back. 

The vessel may have been used for rituals or as a funerary offering, or to hold liquids such as maize beer. Moche pottery is known for is naturalism and depictions of daily life and beliefs.
