Additional Information: A wooden carved oval shaped shield with swirling carved and painted non representational designs. It has woven fiber elements in man made holes that go to the back of the shield creating a strap and handles. The dark textures patina was used often in this region. 

Reportedly Collected by former Australian patrol officer and Oceanic expert Wayne Heathcote, Miami, London.
