Condition: There are some knicks and chips in the wood. One eye is missing.

Additional Information: A wood hand carved relief door or shutter with a stylized zebu (cattle) with droopy ears with a crown on his head. The carving takes up the front of the door. There is a knob of wood at the top so the door or shutter can open and close. There is no paint on the piece showing the natural wood. These doors are usually placed at grainery entrances. Cattle on Sulawesi are regarded by the Torajans as gifts from the gods. The Toraja are the main indigenous group on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia.
