Condition: Light rusting of the metal, scratches, and paint loss on both sides. On the back side, the cloth is detaching, has some rips, and is fraying.
Description: Indian Dhal or shield made from steel with a silver colored finish and typical four rondels to the face with perfuse carving in Arabic text. The reverse is covered with a silk or cloth and is red and purple fabric. Three metallic birds are along the edge of the cloth. In the center of the back is four loops for grip.
