Enten, Tongres, Belgium" on the leather interior. Also included is a British Mark II Brodie steel combat helmet, commonly known as the "tin hat" or "shrapnel helmet," with its characteristic circular brim. The collection further includes a German WWI Model 1916 Stahlhelm steel helmet featuring ventilation lugs for attachment of a Stirnpanzer brow plate and lacking its liner, and a German WWII M35 steel helmet shell, size 64. Together, these helmets illustrate the evolution of twentieth-century European military and civil service protective headgear. The names and identifications of the helmets have not been professionally verified. They are described as accurately as possible based on their visible characteristics, markings, and stylistic features.
