Condition: Light wear and scuffs on each. Some of the larger figures have more staining and chips than others. One has a chipped hand.

Additional Information: Four Hakata Dolls and accessories made in Japan. There are three sculptures of men in a seated position thinking, one is sitting next to a fire, one is laughing, the last one is standing chipping away at wood.  The accessories include food baskets, and fire place, and a pole with a decorative top.

Hakata dolls gained popularity in the United States during and after WWII as service members returning from Japan would bring them home as souvenirs.
