Additional Description:   A green mint tube of 1986 American Silver Eagles contains 20 one-ounce bullion coins from the inaugural year of the U.S. Mint’s landmark silver bullion program. Struck in .999 fine silver, the 1986 issue introduced a new era of American precious metal coinage, combining Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated Walking Liberty design—originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947—with John Mercanti’s modern heraldic eagle on the reverse. These first-year coins were produced primarily at the San Francisco Mint and remain especially sought after for their historical significance. Encased in the Mint’s official green plastic tube, as issued for bulk distribution, the coins are preserved in their original state
