Additional Information: This National Geographic Map of the Philippines is an early twentieth-century cartographic publication and believed to be originally issued as a supplement to The National Geographic Magazine in August 1905. The map reflects the detailed geographic presentation and educational focus characteristic of early National Geographic Society publications, featuring period cartographic styling, finely printed place names, and carefully rendered geographic detail throughout the Philippine archipelago. The lower right corner bears the notation “Andrew B. Graham Co., Lithographers, Washington D.C.” The map represents an important example of early National Geographic supplemental material and retains historical significance as both a geographic reference and collectible piece of early American cartographic publishing.
