Additional Information: Compact antique quarter sawn oak professional instrument and storage cabinet, Dating to the early 20th century, approximately circa 1900–1925.

The cabinet was Likely made for use in a professional or commercial setting such as a physician’s office, dental practice, pharmacy, barber shop, laboratory or similar workplace. Its exact original purpose and manufacturer are unknown.

The cabinet features:

  • Shallow upper accessory drawer with round brass knob
  • Deeper locking drawer with brass bail handle
  • Lower cupboard with solid wooden door
  • Glass viewing panels on both sides of the lower compartment
  • Quarter-sawn oak panels and framework
  • Brass or brass finished hardware

Unrestored antique condition with substantial age and use related wear, including: scratches, stains, and finish loss; heavy wear and damage along portions of the top edge; discoloration inside the lower compartment; wear to the drawer fronts and cabinet corners; tarnish to the brass hardware; and missing the key to the locking drawer. Said drawer remains unlocked and usable. 

Suitable for display or reuse as antique medical office décor, dental or pharmacy memorabilia, apothecary storage, a collector’s cabinet, side table or unusual small storage cupboard.
