Condition: Displays age-related wear including surface scratches, scuffs, finish loss, and scattered imperfections throughout the hardwood frame. Woven cane panels exhibit expected age-related wear with minimal breaks, losses, and areas of separation. Hardware is present with independently adjustable end sections supported by notched braces. Folding legs operate as intended. No visible maker’s marks were observed.
Additional Information: Antique folding adjustable hardwood table featuring woven cane panels, independently adjustable head and foot sections with notched supports, and folding turned legs for portability. The exact original use is unknown, but the form is consistent with an early medical or therapeutic treatment table and may have served as a mortuary cooling board.
