Origin: Pre-Columbian, El Salvador, 400-800 AD

Dimensions: 7.75 in. in diameter x 2.75 in. tall. 

Condition: light wear, hair line cracks, and dirt on some portions, looks as if there has been some repairs to the few cracks.

Additional Information: A hand-built and stone burnished pottery bowl of hemispherical form that shows elaborate free-form glyphs in the basin. The abstract glyphs that painted in orange and red pigment on a tan colored background. The exterior has a trio of right facing swimmers with solid red bands below another register of red and orange glyphs.
