Condition: Dirt wear and indentations throughout the clay figure

Additional Information: This clay figure features winding portions of forms clay and a piece that bridges the top to form a headdress, and underneath a hollowed out center. It has a face with what appears to be multiple eyes on the front and arms that form semi-circles down and its has four legs. It also has another face on the backside.

The figure represents the fantastical janiform figure of Tlaloc, the Aztec rain deity of lightening and thunder, standing with arms and legs spread to expose a projecting phallus. Offerings made in this incesario were meant to guarantee the harmony of nature, and the continued favor of the god.
