Origin: Pre-Columbian, Wari Culture, South-central Andes and coastal area of modern-day Peru, 800-1100-AD.
Dimensions: 20.25×3.5 in.
Condition: Light wear and some of the threads have come loose in some spots and the headband is attached to a separate piece of fabric.
Additional Information: A Pre-Columbian war culture headband tapestry. The tapestry is red, green, blue and tan threaded with motif designs and serpent, and animal figure profiles. May have been a panel in a larger textile diorama.
