Condition: No visible flaws, protected by a shadow box style frame

Additional Information:  A woven necropolis passementerie ornamental garment textile using different colors creating a stylized figure with wavy arms and a elaborate head piece in the center.  Above the figure is a boarder of colors in strips.  Long elaborate tassels with tufts hang down from the half circle woven ornamental textile. 

Provenance: Reportedly Purchased from Crawford A&A Brokers and Appraisers in 2007. From the estate of Caroline McCoy, noted textile collector.

McCoy and her husband donated their collection to the San Francisco museum of Art where it occupies a separate wing.”
