Dimensions: Approx. 10 X 5 in.

Condition: Minor surface wear, small enamel pits and firing irregularities, oxidation to exposed metal consistent with age and manufacture. No major dents, cracks, repairs, or significant enamel losses apparent.

Additional Information: Matching pair of Chinese cloisonné enamel baluster vases with flared necks, rich green grounds, and dense gilt metal cloud scroll cloisons throughout. Each vase is decorated with large polychrome flowering branches in shades of pink, white, blue, and green, accompanied by small butterfly motifs and bordered by multicolored stylized ruyi or lappet bands at the neck and foot.

The recessed undersides are finished in turquoise-blue counter enamel and are unmarked. Gilt/brass rims and mounts accent the mouths and bases. The construction and decorative treatment are consistent with Chinese cloisonné production of the first half to mid 20th century.
