The emperor, positioned on the left, features a mustache and beard with an elaborate court crown and richly detailed robes, while the Empress, on the right, wears an equally ornate headdress and formal robes. Both figures display extensive molded and carved-style detailing throughout their garments, thrones, and accessories. The figures appear consistent with mid-to-late 20th-century decorative export pieces or replicas, with construction suggestive of carved bone. The bases have engraved Chinese characters.
